Directions

Program Flea Killer comes in flavored tablets; dosage is dependant on the weight of the animal. It is to be administered once monthly, preferably on the same day of every month, and can continue either year-round or for the duration of flea season. Program Flea Killer should be given either directly into the mouth or broken up into food; to ensure that the drug is fully absorbed, it should be given together with a meal. In multi-pet households, all of the animals must be treated in order for Program Flea Killer to be effective.

Program flea killer can lead to an upset stomach, causing vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite; it can also have an adverse effect on the skin, leading to pruritus (itchiness, urticaria (hives), and skin congestion (redness). Other side effects include depression and lethargy.

Program for dogs

I have been using Program for dogs for years. I have two dogs and have never had a flea problem with them. Even though the product says it controls the population but doesn't kill adult fleas, I have never even seen an adult flea on my dogs. I have never used it in conjunction with anything else and have never had to. I have been using this product for over 15 years now and will continue to do so.

Best Flea prevention I have ever found

This is the best product I have ever used for our dog for the last two and a half years. Have never had one flea or tick in thar length of time and our dog loves the tablets so it is very easy to give your dogs.

Program Flavor Tabs work great!

Last year we got a flea infestation even while using flea treatments for our pets (1 dog, 2 cats). We noticed a problem while the pets had flea collars on. So we switched to a store bought spot treatment. The flea problem just continued to worsen, the treatment seemed to have no effect. We bathed our dog once a week to try to curb the problem and vaccumned every 3 days. But our pets were still miserable and it just seemed to be getting worse. We tried pet sprays that you spray on the pets and all the bedding and rugs, still no help. We bought Advantage from the vet thinking that finally we would get results, but it seemd to be as ineffective as the regular store brand treatments. Finally we tried Program Flavor Tabs along with the Capstar, both by Novartis and we noticed almost immediate improvement. The Capstar kills all the adult fleas on the pet, then the Program takes care of all the imature fleas and eggs. Within days the pets were showing signs of less and less fleas (no more constant scratching and flea biting) and within a month we were back to being flea free. I will not use any other product besides the Program and Capstar (espeicially after trying so many that did nothing!).

My Dogs Program

My two dogs ages, 12 1/2 yrs and 13 yrs. have always taken Program pills from April thru October each year . I have never had one flea on them or in my house. I haved tried Advantage but it was too harsh for their skin and would immediately roll in the grass to get it off (if I could get it on them at all). We live in the Northeast where winters are harsh, therefore not needed because of the extreme cold in the winter months.

Amazing!

We've used Program for years now and are extremely satisfied with the product. We've tried sprays, baths, collars, and the ointment type treatments but none of it were effective. Finally, the Program Tablets worked a miracle. Great product, highly recommended.

reliable solution

I have been using Program for the last fifteen years. It has never failed to protect my dogs against fleas and ticks. I just drop the tablet in their food and they eat it without a problem. I will stick with this product because I know it works.

Program is NOT a flea killer-

Program "controls flea populations by preventing the development of flea eggs and does not kill adult fleas " is stated on the product literature; it is used in canjunction with CAPSTAR which is the REAL FLEA KILLER and works within 1/2 hour, and can be given daily if needed. This is a flea control program that really works and there is no need to put harsh liquid poisons on a dogs back to do the job--it's all in tablet form. However, it is only part of the flea control process. I love the product, but it is not being adveriised correctly on this website, and this needs to be corrected!

No Fleas

I began to use this product many years ago - after my dog had fleas (one and only time). All it took was the thought of my house infested and the two days of cleaning and vacuming. Not to mention the discomfort my dog felt. My vet recommended this brand and it is convient and easy to use.

Years of PROGRAM

My 15 year old dachshund, Minnie, ha been on PROGRAM flea control for half of her life,and she is flea-free! It is a wonderful tasty pill once a month and it does work. I will highly recommend this product to all who own pets.

This webpage was laid out very clearly. It stated what the product was, its' contants, and how it was meant to be used. There was nothing hidden about the product. The webpage was very good and I would buy from this online store if I was to buy flea killers for my dogs. The products they sell seem safe from their lables.

Get with the winning Program

I'm so happy that our dog uses the Program method for flea control. I've not seen any on her since we started her on Program, like we did with other messy types of protection. Thanks Program for keeping us happy, and free from fleas!
